The NFL announced multi-year commercial agreements with DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics Betting and Gaming ahead of the 2026 season. DraftKings and FanDuel renewed their sports-betting category relationships, while Fanatics expanded a broader NFL tie-up that already included collectibles and official league merchandise.
Earlier reporting by Sports Business Journal said the sportsbook sponsor category had been vacant since multiyear deals with FanDuel, DraftKings and Caesars expired at the end of March. The new agreements give all three partners rights to use NFL marks within sports betting, promote online and retail wagering, and appear around the league’s tentpole events, including the Super Bowl and NFL Draft.
The operators will also get hospitality and VIP experiences, plus integrations across NFL-owned digital media properties. They will have access to real-time official play-by-play statistics, Next Gen Stats and BetVision through Genius Sports, which the league describes as its exclusive data distribution partner.
The NFL said the partners agreed to its core game integrity policies and to collaborate on intelligence sharing, advocacy efforts and responsible gambling initiatives. The league said that collaboration includes prohibiting wagers it finds objectionable, including bets tied to officiating and injuries, and wagers that can be knowable in advance or easily manipulated by a single person.
The league also said its integrity program includes collaboration with betting partners, policy education and enforcement, and information sharing and monitoring for suspicious activity with law enforcement, regulators and other partners. It said each club has an Integrity Representative, typically a retired FBI agent or senior law enforcement officer, and that players, coaches, officials and staff must complete annual training on the gambling policy and sign it each year.
DraftKings will remain the Official Daily Fantasy Sports Partner, a role that began in 2019 and includes exclusive rights to NFL intellectual property and marks. Fanatics became the league’s Official Online Casino Marketing Partner. DraftKings chief marketing officer Stephanie Sherman said the deal places the brand alongside the biggest games of the season, while FanDuel president Christian Genetski said the NFL has been an important partner over the last five years in building a legal and regulated betting industry. Fanatics chief executive Matt King said the expansion covers Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Casino.
NFL executive vice president and chief revenue officer Renie Anderson said the league was thrilled to have three world-class partners and stressed a shared commitment to protecting game integrity. The league did not disclose financial terms.
The NFL also said it launched its responsible betting campaign in 2021 with the National Council on Problem Gambling, has provided the two largest grants in NCPG history at $6.2 million in 2021 and $6.4 million in 2024, and will run its Stick to Your Game Plan, Always Bet Responsibly television campaign during the season.
